Sustainability at the Core
Creating long-term value through responsible growth, environmental stewardship and circular innovation.
Sustainability is not an addition to POLVOLT — it is the foundation on which the project is built. Every aspect of the project has been developed to support a more sustainable industrial future.
Driving the Circular Economy
Urban mining as circular resource management.
POLVOLT is based on the principles of urban mining and circular resource management.
Instead of relying solely on primary extraction, the project recovers valuable materials already present within society and returns them to productive use.
This approach reduces waste, conserves natural resources and helps create a more resilient supply chain for critical raw materials.

Climate Impact
Substantial environmental benefits.
- Approximately 86% reduction in relative greenhouse gas emissions compared to conventional production routes
- Around 4.5 million tonnes of avoided CO₂ equivalent emissions during the first decade of operation
- Reduced demand for primary raw material extraction
- Increased utilization of renewable energy sources
