Częstochowa University of Technology and Elemental Strategic Metals have signed a cooperation agreement. The document was signed by the Rector of the University, Prof. Marek Warzecha, and Maciej Dudzic, Member of the ESM Management Board.
The agreement strengthens the existing partnership, which has been developing for years — among others through projects carried out jointly with the Faculty of Production Engineering and Materials Technology. Now the cooperation is set to gain even greater momentum, covering scientific research and initiating joint development work. Both sides announce the implementation of projects aimed at deploying innovative technologies, securing funding from national and European sources, and promoting effective science-industry partnerships. The agreement also provides for jointly delivering commissions for the private sector and institutions, as well as activities supporting the development of education.
– The agreement with Elemental Strategic Metals is another initiative of Częstochowa University of Technology in the area of building relationships with the business environment of our University. This is an extremely important direction, giving real momentum to the University’s development. The transfer of the results of innovative research conducted by our academic staff into the realm of sustainable development — not only at the local level — is based on mutual benefits. I would like to emphasize that the commercialization of research results remains one of the highest priorities for the University’s leadership. I am pleased to state that for our students, the signed agreement is an exceptionally valuable opportunity to gain practical skills through internships and placements. Elemental Strategic Metals is becoming a model example of combining science with industry. Since July 1, two students from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at Częstochowa University of Technology — studying Circular Economy — have started a month-long internship at the Zawiercie facility.

Now we want to leverage the substantive potential of Częstochowa University of Technology in the activities of our Group and translate it into concrete technological solutions.
